Our one-to-one iPad programme for students from Years 5 to 11 is just part of this approach, teaching students the best methods for using technology to advance their studies.
Access to technology is provided in a variety of ways for all students, including smartboards in all classrooms, with age-appropriate apps and programmes used to enhance students’ learning in this increasingly technological world.
Technology or ICT is a stand-alone subject for students from Year 1; however, students in Early Years also have full use of age-appropriate technology particularly to assist with developing their literacy and numeracy skills. Our students are not only using technology, but from Year 1 are also learning to code and developing practical skills which will give them the edge as technologies and career options change and develop. While we don’t know what the world of work will look like when our younger students graduate, we are dedicated to ensuring they have the best preparation for their future success.
