Our school is a testing centre for the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) which is an international standardized exam that tests and rates Chinese language proficiency. It assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives.
We have been offering the HSK at BISS Puxi for a year for our secondary students as well as parents and friends who have shown an interest in taking this test. So far 29 students and parents have taken the test at our school with 100% pass rate. The next test date is coming up on Sunday 1 December and applications are open now for students and parents.
Letters will be coming home with full details about how to apply for the test, the main details are outlined also below.
1. Send Ms. Regina Lin ( email@example.com) an email to inform her that you would like to participate before Thursday 31 October
2. Participants must provide the following items and put all four items below in a sealed envelope clearly labelled “HSK Registration: 1 December 2013” to the Secondary Reception by Monday 1 November.
a) One copy of the participant’s passport (the school receptionist can help to photocopy the passport if necessary)
b) One passport size photo if you are taking HSK level 4 and above
c) Completed reply slip with detailed information and put the slip in the envelope
d) Registration fee according to the following scale.
HSK Level I: 150RMB HSK Level II: 250RMB HSK Level III: 350 RMB
HSK Level IV: 450 RMB HSK Level V: 550 RMB HSK Level VI: 650 RMB
