Dee Dee is Admissions Manager at the British International School Shanghai, Puxi Campus.
I am one of the founding members of The British International School Shanghai, Puxi, and have been privileged to grow alongside this wonderful community for over 20 years. My career in education spans both China and the UK, giving me a deep understanding of the British curriculum and the unique needs of international families relocating to Shanghai.
I hold a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from the University of Lincoln and have specialised in Marketing and Admissions since 2008. In my role as Admissions Manager, I have had the pleasure of helping thousands of families navigate their child’s educational journey from their very first enquiry to a confident start at our school. What brings me the greatest joy is not only supporting a child’s smooth transition into a new school, but also watching them grow, graduate, and go on to university.
Some of the children I first welcomed years ago are now young parents themselves, and it fills me with immense pride to see them return to BISS Puxi to enroll their own children. I look forward to welcoming your family to our community.
Echo Li is Admissions Manager at the British International School Shanghai, Puxi Campus.
Echo grew up in Shanghai and studied English at the Shanghai Teaching University. Echo joined BISS straight after university and worked her way up to the Admissions Manager role within the Marketing, Admissions and Communications department. Echo has seen the school grow and how the addition of key buildings such at the two STEAM centres in the Primary and Secondary Schools make such a difference to students and their learning.
Echo enjoys the whole journey from the initial interaction with parents to seeing students join on their first day and developing academically, creatively, personally and socially at the school. Echo is married, with one child. In her spare time, she enjoys watching films and travelling to new places with her family and friends. Echo believes that travel is an education in itself and an opportunity to open our eyes to new perspectives.
Tiger was the valedictorian at Léman International School, Chengdu in 2018. During his time at the school he set up a successful business and earned a place at one of the best universities in the world. He continues to excel, securing prestigious internships and scholarships as part of his university experience.
