BISS Puxi's Winter Wonderland is Nearly Here

22 November 2013

Every year BISS Puxi’s Christmas Fayre is the highlight of the Autumn Term and this year’s Winter Wonderland will be no exception. The Year 12 CAS leadership team is delighted to be organising the event this year. It will be a really family orientated event, with something for everyone, from mulled wine to Santa’s Grotto.

Esmay Drieduite, a member of the CAS leadership team says it best “I think everyone should come along to our Winter Wonderland - it will look amazing and there will be something for everyone.”

It is not just the event itself that is getting us excited, but also the charity we are supporting. The Starfish Foundation is a charity that BISS Puxi has worked with for many years and there couldn’t be a better cause to support. Agnes Vesterback said “This is the reason many of us got involved, we are all dedicated to this cause and I am so happy I could be a part of it.” We cannot wait for you to come and have a fabulous day for a fantastic cause!

In addition, there will be games for all, including the popular 'Sponge the teacher', and our Korean parents will prepare some festive games too.  The bake sale is back and, new to BISS Puxi this year, 'The Great Christmas Bake Off' where contestants will bake to the theme of Christmas 2050 and the cakes tested and judged by a special panel.

The ever popular raffle baskets are back, with the proceeds going to support Mifan Mama and there will even be snow!

Don't forget to order your tickets, we are looking forward to seeing you all there!

- Katie White, Year 12
