Tickets go on sale outside the primary school, during afternoon pick-up, from Monday through Friday (weather permitting). To enter to win, simply purchase a ticket (or more!), write in your name and details, and then place it in the box for the basket that you wish to take home on Saturday. The cost is 25 rmb for one ticket, or 100 rmb for 5. Tickets will also be on sale throughout the Winter Wonderland on Saturday 7 December. The winners will be selected at the end of that event, but you need not be present to win. All proceeds will be donated to Mifan Mama to support needy children in and around Shanghai. A favourite memory from past Christmas Basket Raffles was listening to two young boys discussing which basket they would win to give to their mums - lucky mothers!
The Year 12 CAS students are all buzzing with excitement about the Winter Wonderland, only one week away that they've been working so hard on organising this year! The PTA has been supporting the CAS students who, with the help of the teachers too, have created what will be a lovely party for the whole community. The help of the parents is an important part of the event, so please consider donating goodies to the Bake Sale, or volunteering one hour to assist on the day of the event. Contact PTA@bisspuxi.com">PTA@bisspuxi.com or email@example.com">firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up today.
Ticket pre-orders will be accepted until noon on Tuesday, in the boxes at the primary and secondary reception desks. Send in your form and payment together, 50 rmb for 10 tickets, cash only please. If you miss the deadline, you can purchase tickets at the door (enrty costs one ticket) and throughout the day. Please note that this event is being held in the secondary school, and entry is through the gate near the clock tower. Proceeds from the Winter Wonderland event will be donated to the CAS project, Starfish Foundation, and the proceeds from the coat check will be going to aid rebuilding in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan.
Meet Your PTA will return next week; we're all busy this week working on Parent-Teacher Association projects!
