Early Years Cubs Nativities

The Primary Theatre came alive on Wednesday and Thursday as our youngest students entertained us with some wonderful festive drama and music.

The Reception children told the story of the “Sleepy Shepherd” while the Nursery and Pre- Nursery children sang, narrated and “acted out” a more traditional Nativity story.  All the children sang beautifully, narrated their lines clearly and looked fantastic in their colourful costumes. There were also a few entertaining unscripted moments, as is often the case with such young children!

The children impressed the audiences with their talents and stage presence and, while stage fright took hold of a few, clearly the children were loving their moment of fame on stage. There was barely a dry eye in the theatre as parents and family laughed, smiled, clapped and took a million photos of these delightful performers. There was a wonderful atmosphere of joy and festive cheer and these mornings certainly put everyone in the holiday spirit.

Thanks to all the children, staff and parents for their hard work and participation in these Christmas shows.
