Sabrina, Parent-Teacher Association co-chair, thanks the Korean mums for their kind invitation to meet with them this past week. It was a great opportunity for both sides to learn more and to explore ways of working together on the joint goal of making BISS Puxi a great place for all of our children.
New Parent Programme
If you are new or still new-ish to BISS Puxi, or just curious about the current PTA, please come and join us at the Morning Tea (and Coffee) on Friday 24 January 8:40-10:00am in the secondary Dining Hall. The new board will be introduced, among lots of other useful information from the New Parent group, and a full briefing about the International Food Evening. Join in and meet some new friends! The Winter Wonderland and Basket Raffle tickets will also be available for cash purchase.
International Food Evening
The planning for the most delicious evening of the year is gearing up to take off after the break. The PTA is recruiting parents and teachers to form the organising committee, to serve as Country Coordinators, and especially, to cook! Celebrate Winter, and Chinese New Year, together with BISS Puxi on Saturday 25 January from 1 - 4pm. There will be games, refreshments, performances, gift stalls, and maybe you can get your picture taken with the God of Fortune! This community event is presented by the CAS students, supported by the PTA.
