Year 3 Student Wins Parkway Health Calendar Contest

21 January 2014

On Saturday 18 January, Lenard Chang in Year 3 was very pleased to receive an award for his winning art entry.

All children in Key Stage 2 at International schools across Shanghai were invited to submit art entries for the Parkway Health 2014 Calendar.  The theme for the calendar was ‘My Home in China’ and many excellent entries were submitted from BISS Puxi alone.

Lenard’s piece was chosen for the final calendar and he was presented with an award and his framed artwork at the award ceremony on Saturday.

We were all very proud of Lenard for being selected as one of the winners. Lenard himself said: "I was really excited to go to the ceremony, it is the first time that I have won an award.  I felt very happy"
