PTA Corner – Introducing the Second New Co-chair

This week, the Parent-Teacher Association invites you to meet the other new Co-chairperson, Stephanie Stephenson.
  • How long has your family been at BISS Puxi?  We are in our second year at BISS Puxi. We started in September 2012.

  • Tell us about your family.  My husband is Neil, and we have 2 children. Sam in 6B and Hannah in 4S.

  • Where is your home country?  I am Australian, although I lived for a long time in the UK. Neil is British. The children are "both"!

  • Where did you live before you came to Shanghai?  We came to Shanghai from Sydney and before that Liphook in Hampshire, England.

  • Favourite Book: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I have lost count of the number of times I have read it.

  • Favourite movie: Grease!

  • Favourite place for a holiday:  I love visiting new places. This Chinese New Year we are going to Japan for the first time. A highlight though would have to be Cape Town.

  • Tell us something surprising about you. I'm not sure if there are too many surprising things about me.... I'm a pretty open book!

  • Why do you enjoy PTA involvement? I've been involved with the PTA pretty much since we arrived in Shanghai. I have met some great people through helping out with PTA events and I have also got to know a lot of the fantastic teachers and support staff who are so important in making BISS Puxi such a great school. Plus, it is a lot of fun!
