Year 1 Travel the World

03 November 2014

As you may already know, Barnaby Bear took a term off work to travel the world with Year 1. Year 1 teacher, Danielle Leigh, tells us what he’s been up to recently.

  • Year 1 students from the British International School Shanghai, Puxi met the Queen and learnt about English food

So far Barnaby Bear has been to Australia, Japan and is currently having a ball in England.  Last week Barnaby received a very exciting invitation. The Queen herself invited us to have tea with her.

We had so much fun learning about and sampling all the yummy treats from England.  We ate cucumber sandwiches, mini Victoria sponge cakes, biscuits and drank lots of sweet English tea and had a great time!

Where will Barnaby Bear go next and what will Year 1 learn about…?
