In each year group the children had a carousel of fun Christmas themed activities to keep them busy and challenged; there were disco rooms and traditional party games; a multitude of craft projects, making tree decorations and gifts; children were icing Christmas biscuits and making cakes in the cooking room; we had visits from Santa Claus and photo booths for children to get dressed up and have their photos taken; and in Year 5 the children were looking to the future, producing wonderful ‘Time Capsules’ to capture their hopes and dreams of the moment to be relived in later years.
These parties are a great way for parents and teachers to acknowledge and reward the children for all their hard work and engagement in their learning this term. The children had a fabulous time and it was a really happy and positive way for us to finish off the term.
Many thanks to all the parents who gave up their time to plan and run these parties- your efforts resulted in a wonderful experience for all the children and brought a wonderful community spirit to the last week of term. Your support is much appreciated by the staff and students!
