Under 9 Division 1
We are the Champions!

It could not have been a better day, with Carlos scoring the tries, Oscar getting in the tackles and Michael, the two Lucas' and Aayush destroying the line with fantastic runs and tackles, and outstanding passes by Rasmus.

The day was as amazing as the weather. We beat them all and beat them well, bringing home the trophy for the BISS Lions!

Under 11
This year we have had a magnificent season. Unfortunately, we did suffer some loses and beat downs, but we never gave up. We played as hard as we possibly could. We had some new comers this year and they quickly developed to our style of play. During the friendly season we entered 3 teams, we gave it our all and we demonstrated some brilliant performances. We scored many unforgettable tries throughout this season. It didn’t matter if we lost, it just made us stronger.

We ended this year’s rugby season with the end of season tournaments. Although we didn’t proceed to the finals, we still had a wonderful and fun time.

In summary we had a marvellous time playing rugby and hope we can have another great time next year!

Netball Under 11

The games everyone has been waiting for… THE FINALS!!

Our 13 BISS Puxi Netballers travelled to Dulwich Shanghai early in the morning feeling nervous yet competitive and excited. We warmed up and played some drills before moving on to our first game against Dulwich Suzhou A with a great win of 5-1.

We thanked the other team then moved on to our next match against BISS Pudong B - this was a success with the end result of 8-0.

Our following match was against Dulwich Shanghai B with a tight win of 2-0 leading our team to the winners of our group and through to the semi-finals!

We played against BISS Pudong A team and although we tried our best, unfortunately we lost in the final minutes of the game to a score of 2-3. However we shook it off and returned to the court for our next match to determine 3rd and 4th place. We were up against Suzhou A once again and beat them with a close score of 3-1.

We came 3rd out of 8 teams! We were extremely proud and we thank our coaches and supporters for the hard work and time they’ve put in! We continue to train hard for our big competition in Beijing on 29 May to 1 June. Wish us luck!
