International Week is coming!
For the Adults
A group of wonderful cooks are busy preparing some delicious international dishes for your culinary pleasure at the International Food Evening on Saturday 22 March. Tickets are now on sale – get in early so you don’t miss out! This is an adults only event, and is always a huge amount of fun!
For the Kids
“Friends! Romans! Countrymen! Lend me your colandears!” (Sorry!)
From the 25 - 27 March students in the primary school will be treated to a selection of delicious food from around the world during the annual International Food Fair. This event is fast approaching and we are still seeking volunteers to contribute dishes. We are particularly interested to hear from French and British amateur chefs! France, a country famous for its rich culinary history, has given the world tasty croissants, warm baguettes, wonderful quiches, and delicious cheeses. Britain...has put a variety of coloured sauces on chips…but don't feel bad, everyone likes chips!
Any help you could give would be enormously appreciated. If you can provide a dish from your home country, send us an email at email@example.com" style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.5;">firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send your details to the coordinator from your country. The first meeting of the country coordinators will take place in the Primary Boardroom on Monday 10 March at 8:45am.
If you haven’t already done so, please take a few minutes to complete the PTA survey that was sent out via the Room Parent Network. The deadline for your completed survey is Friday 14 March. We will present the results and outcomes at the next PTA News and Views Meeting on Tuesday 15 April in the Primary Theatre at 8:45am.
We will also be welcoming a representative from Mifan Mama, the charity we supported with the Winter Wonderland Raffle Basket funds. Come along and find out what a difference our donations can make! We look forward to seeing you there.
Primary School Disco
We are also pleased that the PTA will support the school again this year in running a Primary School Disco in Term 3. We are looking for parents who have a few spare hours to help organise this fun event for the kids. If you are interested, please send us an email at email@example.com" style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.5;">firstname.lastname@example.org.
