Year 11 Celebrate the End of Two Years' Hard Work

17 June 2014

Congratulations to the Year 11s who have now all finished their IGCSE exams!

  • Year 11 celebrate the end of their IGCSE exams and two years of hard work.

Last week they let their hair down and celebrated the end of their hard work by having an event at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Nanjing Road.

A group of students formed a committee and organised the whole event, preparing the venue with the theme of James Bond.

Students got dressed up in their finest attire for the special event which included music, celebrations and awards, including the best dressed award and cutest couple award, nominated by all the students.

It really was such a fantastic night and a perfect way to celebrate the end of their hard work of studying for their IGCSE exams.  Mr Brown kindly took photographs of the event which can be found on our Facebook page.

Thanks to the organising committee for creating such a memorable night. The students involved were Amiria Mason-Arand, Jenny Wang, Sirus Menezes, Dilara Guntay, Natalie Meecham, Sean Hughes and Margot Jacobs.

The awards went to:

Best dressed Man: Benedict Zhang
Best Dressed Lady: Dilara Guntay
Cutest Couple: Andrea Tromborg and Lara Crockhart
Prom King: Tasos Chiotopoulus
Prom Queen: Saga Styrmisdottir

- Daniel Grocott, Head of Year 11
