As a qualified teacher you will be a fluent English speaker, familiar with the UK curriculum and confident working with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. You’ll be capable of inspiring students to see the beauty and structure that underpins maths, inculcating the right work habits and techniques in students aged from 11 to 18. You will be comfortable teaching students of all abilities across the complete secondary age range. You will be an excellent communicator and confident with technology: someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents. Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom.
