Auskick Shanghai comes to BISS Puxi

23 January 2015

We are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Auskick Shanghai, who provide boys and girls with a fun and safe introduction to Australian Football. They will be holding a taster session here at BISS Puxi on 7 February for any children interested in learning more about the sport having a go.

  • Auskick at BISS Puxi

This taster session is for children aged 5 to 13 and will be an opportunity to learn about the sport from members of the Shanghai Tigers Australian Rules Football team, including former professional Australian Football League (AFL) player, Shannon Watt. It will include hands-on instructions in skills such as kicking and hand balling.

Depending on interest, we will be looking to incorporate Auskick into our BISCAP programme in Term 3.

Auskick coach Mark Mayne is excited about bringing the sport to BISS Puxi: “It’s a great chance to share our passion for our sport and give children a chance to experience something new and exciting. We think the kids are going to love it and learn so much from it, not just about Aussie football, but also about team work and developing a healthy lifestyle.”

If you are interested in attending the taster session, please email Mark from Auskick Shanghai at auskick@shanghaitigers.com.cn.
