Our students on the Global Classroom Tanzania Expedition last year.
We are so lucky to have the opportunity to go to Tanzania and not only do we want to provide an exciting experience for the 34 pupils going on the trip, but we also want to make a lasting impression on the community that we are visiting in Tanzania.
Our goal is to raise 100,000 RMB by March, which I am sure you will agree is an ambitious target! The main event in which we plan to raise this money is our 'BISS Has Got Talent' on Thursday 29 January along with a charity Silent Auction being held on the same evening.
Auditions are next week and more information about the event will be published soon, but for now we would like to kindly request donations of any products or services that you could offer to be put up for the Silent Auction.
All of the funds we raise go towards projects at the Seeway orphanage and the Imbaseni Primary School. Short term ventures may include, but are not exclusive to, developing valuable infrastructure, providing sustainable green energy equipment and the construction of goat sheds.
Longer term projects that this money will be put towards may include the implementation and construction of community solar systems for local communities, building community dispensaries and nursery schools as well as water wells.
If you have anything that you would like to donate to the auction then please do get in touch with me at a-rudd@bisspuxi.com" style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.5;">a-rudd@bisspuxi.com for more information.
Many thanks in advance for your kind generosity!
