Back to the Future Film Day This Saturday

22 October 2015

Put on your self-tying trainers! Fire up the Hoverboards!

On Saturday 24th October, we will mark the 30th Anniversary of Back to the Future with a screening of all three films in the series.

  • Back to the Future Film

'Back to the Future Day' has just been marked worldwide; in the second Back to the Future film, protagonist Marty McFly travels from 1980s America to 2015. Plenty has been written this week about the film's technological predictions - flat-screen TVs, drones and biometrics have come true, while Hoverboards, flying cars and 18 film sequels to Jaws have not...

Our event will be held in S237 (our Media Room), starting at 11am. The event is FREE and is open to all Secondary students, though a parental permission slip must be collected and returned (these are directly from Mr Ekkel in S237).

For further information, please contact Mr Ekkel.

See you in the future!

Rus Ekkel, Head of Film and Media
