Fool’s Gold Theatre Production Update

29 October 2015

All cast members have been busy, busy, busy these last few weeks, preparing for our upcoming Key Stage Three production ‘Fool’s Gold’. Lines are being learnt and songs are being sung, and we are now at the stage where we can look back on previous scenes and perfect our character personas.

The students enthusiasm for and commitment to the production has been lovely to see, and their hard work will undoubtedly result in a show like no other.

Last Thursday, we had our first rehearsal in full costume, and the cast did themselves proud. Above are some pictures to wet your appetites. In the next few weeks, Silvia, Hugh and Cian – three of our Year 8 cast members – will also be visiting assemblies across both primary and secondary to show younger students a snippet of what they have to look forward to.

We won’t tell you too much about the musical - or its ludicrous characters - as we don’t want to spoil the surprise, but rest assured the night will be filled with fun, laughter and… bread (don’t ask!).

Tickets will be on sale from next week, and will cost 40RMB per adult and 20RMB per student. The show is suitable for all ages and is not to be missed. Hurry – get your ticket before there are none left!
