Countdown To The BISS Puxi Christmas Fair

12 November 2015

It’s almost time again for The BISS Puxi Christmas Fair.

  • Christmas Fair
  • Christmas Fair

Though it is organised each year by our parents from the PTA and a select group of year 12 students, each and every pupil from year 12 will be there helping out; along with volunteers in other years to ensure it’s not only successful, but also a fun event.

The BISS Puxi Christmas Fair has always been one of my favourite events and that is why I joined the committee so that I could make a contribution in organising the event.

This year, The BISS Puxi Christmas Fair will be on Saturday 28th November 2015 from 11:00-15.00. There will be many things to do, to eat, to see or to buy for people of all ages! This includes a fantastic Raffle Draw event, many vendors, music and entertainment, and of course all sorts of food and games. We would like to thank donors for our raffle baskets so far:

The money raised during The BISS Puxi Christmas Fair will be going to the Indochina Starfish Foundation, a charity supporting schools, with football and education programs in Cambodia.  Our Year 12 students have visited their schools during Activity Week for the past 7 years.

There will also be a Bakesale and a second hand uniform, book and toy sale.  If you would like to bake for the bake sale please contact Ms Coong. If you have any uniform, books or toys that are in good condition and would like to donate them to the second hand sale, then please bring them into Primary or Secondary reception.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, Sherpas, DTL, Renaud Air, Pure Smile and CETA Tennis.

Many thanks and see you all at The BISS Puxi Christmas Fair!

Meagan Tan, 12S.
