Year 11 pupils will be performing extracts from ‘Blue Remembered Hill’s’ by Dennis Potter as part of the iGCSE examination. This realistic play is set during World War Two and follows seven children as they play in the Forest of Dean on a summer’s afternoon.
The evening also sees our first ever Year 13 IB Theatre exam piece. The pupils have devised their own play based on the story of Anthony and Cleopatra. They have based their performance on the key features of Bertolt Brecht and have chosen Splendid Theatre as their chosen company to influence their devising methods. This is a fast paced and extremely comical rendition of this infamous love story.
The evening is open to all members of the community over the age of 12 and entry is free. The performance starts at 7pm in the auditorium (secondary) and should conclude around 8.20pm.
