Year 1 Get Into The Festive Spirit

08 December 2015

Christmas is around the corner with Year 1 enjoying a variety of experiences related to the festive season.

  • Year 1 Christmas Party 2015
  • Year 1 Christmas Party

On Monday 30 November, the group excitedly got ready for their Christmas Party by making lots of different decorations to hang up in the Year 1 corridor.

After the preparations were complete, we were lucky enough to be visited by Santa himself!

The group sat beautifully as he read us a story about The Night Before Christmas. We then got a chance to ask Santa questions and tell him what we would like for Christmas.

After our visit from Santa, we took part in 3 different party activities. We danced to lots of different songs, created some beautiful snow angels and snowmen and enjoyed eating our yummy cupcakes.

The fun continued later in the week for 1U and 1S has they had a wonderful time building Christmas trees during our Forest School’s sessions.

They worked in teams to measure out and use different sized sticks to make a large Christmas tree before adding a beautiful star at the top.
