Documentary Film Makers Visit

25 February 2015

We’re delighted to be welcoming documentary film director Leah Warshawski and editor Todd Soliday to BISS Puxi on Wednesday 11 March.

  • 'Finding Hillywood' director Leah Warshawski and editor Todd Soliday will visit the British International School Shanghai, Puxi

Our guests recently released their film FINDING HILLYWOOD. This award-winning documentary was filmed in Rwanda and examines how film is used to heal the wounds of the country’s troubled history.

Leah and Todd will be leading workshops in our secondary Film and Media department throughout the day, so our students will get the full benefit of their advice and skills!

We will also be screening ‘Finding Hillywood’ for our students and following this with a Q&A session with the audience.

We’re delighted to offer 20 audience seats to parents, so if you would like to attend the film screening, please reserve your place by emailing events@bisspuxi.com?subject=Finding%20Hillywood" style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1.5;">events@bisspuxi.com by Monday 9 March. The screening will take place in Stage One, Primary School from 8:50am – 10:40am on 11 March. We hope to see you there!
