For the fifth day of the school's Chinese New Year celebration, the school's Mandarin lessons throughout the day have been centred around the creation of Dui Lian (Chinese Couplets). Dui Lian is a long-kept tradition of Chinese New Year where the eldest member of the family will inscribe the family's blessings for Chinese New Year. However as time has passed, the creation of Dui Lian is no longer a tradition for families, instead it is purchased in shops. But today, the students will experience first-hand the creation of their very own Dui Lian through the art of Chinese Calligraphy.
