Day 3
Our third day was dedicated to cycling and climbing activities. We had been informed that there would be another hike to the climbing site which we were excited about, as the previous one was superb and this one again did not fail to impress with its technical and physical challenges and requirement for perseverance and determination to reach our climbing routes.
The walls were high up in the bamboo forest and once we reached six meters onto the wall, the view we had over the canopy was simply stunning: a real treat for all the effort we had put in to get there. Our guides were knowledgeable and encouraged us to reach our limits and achieve our personal goals.
Some other groups enjoyed a more relaxed but no less exciting cycle ride to a secret reservoir up in the hills. We mounted our excellent Giant bikes and set of along the winding, scenic roads, passing villages, tea plantations, and vegetable farms until we reached our destination. A wonderfully enjoyable day, followed by more great local food and night games back at base camp.
The learning, fun and all round wholesome experience in beautiful surroundings continues.
