Don’t Miss 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'

24 April 2015

The BISS Puxi Performing Arts Faculty enthusiastically invites you to our Summer production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

  • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

This is a very well-known story set in the bustling streets of London where a small boy named Charlie seeks adventure in the magnificent chocolate factory run by the mysterious and illusive Mr. Willy Wonka. Little does kind-hearted Charlie know, his life is about to turn upside down, as he meets diverse people who have a very different life to his.  When he finally finds the winning golden ticket and explores the factory there are little surprises around every corner.

Will Charlie receive his prize of a lifetime supply of chocolate? Come and watch to find out!

Suitable for the whole family, this production, involving around 50 students from Years 5 and 6, is a visual feast including some hip hop dancing, chocolate themed props and singing Oompa Loompas!  Having spent months of rehearsals committing themselves to the worthy entertainment of their community we invite you all to be thoroughly entertained, be you student, parent, teacher or neighbour.

The play will run on Wednesday 6 May and Thursday 7 May. Performances will begin at 6pm with refreshments served from 5:30pm, with a 20 minute interval between the two acts. The show should finish at approximately 8:30pm.

The cast and crew would be delighted if you could attend. Tickets are now available from primary or secondary Reception. Adult tickets are 20 RMB and tickets are free for children.

We look forward to seeing you there!
