Update from Year 5 Residential in Nanbei Hu

10 June 2015

Year 5 left today for their three day residential trip to Nanbei Hu and will be sending us regular updates to share with you…

  • Year 5 students at the British International School Shanghai on their school trip to Nanbei Hu.

What a great first day at Nanbei Hu! Year 5 have headed off to bed tired but happy after a very successful day.

Each group did their first two activities and we were all happy that the rain held off! The Navy blues began with both high ropes courses and a very proud Wilmer was first to catch the bar!  Maroon group kayaked, while grey group hiked.

After dinner we took a stroll around the site, listening to the noises of the night, a real difference from the sounds of Shanghai! It was a cloudy night and we were lucky that the rain held off. We are hoping that tomorrow night might be clear and we can see some stars!

Nanbei Hu checking out, night night!
