Gymnastics Competition

09 December 2016

Well done to all the young gymnasts who took part in the Shanghai Multisport Gymnastics Competition hosted at BISS Puxi on Sunday.

It was great day that showcased the talents and determination of our gymnasts - some competing for the first time in such an event. The girls had to perform across the three disciplines of floor, beam and vault and demonstrated great skill gained through lots of practice and weekly gymnastics classes. They also showed great courage and confidence to perform such tough routines in front of a large audience - no mean feat when you are balancing  on a very thin beam! Special congratulations to the girls who took home medals in individual and team competitions. But huge well done and congratulations must go to each and every competitor as they tried their best, overcame their fears, and learned and grew from this experience - well done to you all.
