Another Week and Yet More Student Successes

27 April 2016

There doesn’t seem to be a week that goes past recently without BISS Puxi students receiving some form of recognition for their academic achievement.

  • Student Successes
  • Student Successes

Last week, a number of Year 12 students obtained an array of Bronze, Silver and Gold awards in The Royal Society of Chemistry’s ‘Chemistry Olympiad’. The Chemistry Olympiad is a paper which is a written test of chemical knowledge and understanding.

The questions are designed to challenge student’s awareness on the subject with the paper providing a good opportunity to help them develop skills required for study at university and beyond.

The exam itself lasts for two hours and it’s our pleasure to announce the following students received the below awards.

Unfortunately Seowon was not present for the photograph due to illness.

Meanwhile, some great results have recently come from our KET and PET students with both groups achieving pass rates of more than 90%, including several distinctions.

They have worked hard to be successful in these important Cambridge University validated exams. These students are progressing well on their English language learning ladder of success.
