Big Thank You to Our Wonderful Parent Volunteers

21 September 2016

As a member of the parent community at BISS Puxi I appreciate the value and importance of the LRC as a quiet learning environment for our children as well as a place to find one’s favourite reads.

Now, as the new librarian, I am working towards reorganizing and redecorating the LRC to make it even more appealing to pupils. Therefore, I am thankful for the spectacular work our amazing parent volunteers have done last week. With their help we will redecorate the library walls from time to time to highlight an outstanding author and popular books for all levels.

This time the featured author is John Green, author of popular young adults’ books such as ‘Paper Towns’ and ‘The Fault in our Stars’. Both have become hit movies recently. With only 39 years of age John Green has accomplished to become a popular author which very few people accomplish at such young age. I hope that this can inspire pupils to strive for success as he is a great role model for them. So, please feel free to come by, and have a look at the wonderful display the parents have done.
