Looking to the Future

As part of the exciting new changes to the BISS Puxi campus, students have been helping to create a model of Big Ben, the iconic clock tower in central London.

  • 3D Printer

The model, which will be made using 3D printing technology, will be on display by the brand new STEAM building at the secondary school. 

Our original aim was to create one of the world's largest 3D printed scale models. Since then, we have worked tirelessly on this ambitious project which will showcase modern technology and artistic talent. We created an accurate and detailed scale model using Blender, before printing a test version on our own 3D printer. Also, we have worked to find materials and that will be used to put together the final model. We believe that the final product will fully represent our school and our modern approach to technology and the arts.
