Model United Nations Conference

09 February 2017

It is my great honour to announce BISS Puxi’s second Model United Nations Conference! The conference will be held from the 10 - 12 February, where we will be debating topics of great concerns in our five committees alongside other international schools from Shanghai and abroad.

Matters like drug trafficking, preventing further negative climate change or the protection of the rights of children in armed conflicts and child soldiers will be discussed, debated and solutions developed in order to create a greater awareness of global issues. It is of upmost importance to have awareness of such pressing issues, as we are global citizens and should aim to make a change for the future.

I look forward to the conference and welcome those who wish to come and support us this weekend.

Alena Heise

Secretary General
