Drama Club Performance

16 June 2017

On Thursday 15 June, members of the Drama Club ECA performed a short devised play based on a selection of Aesop’s fables.

Stories such as The Fox and the Crow, The Tortoise and the Hare and The boy Who Cried Wolf, were presented in an innovative and comic manner to parents, friends, Ms Cotrim, Mr Rickford and Mr Lancaster. Whilst this was no means a polished performance, it demonstrated the students’ hard work and dedication to this ECA over the previous 9 weeks.

Students all had their chance to shine, and strutted the boards proudly, as they presented their burgeoning acting, singing and dancing talents. Parents and teachers mentioned their favourites were Leela as the cunning, clever Mr Fox, Alison as Mr Tiger, Katrin as the dancing tortoise and the sheep in The Boy Who Cried Wolf. It was a very enjoyable evening.
