Commendations

The linguistic prowess of our students

Congratulations to our students who have been recipients of Principal’s Commendations or Headteacher’s Awards over the past week – this time we are acknowledging the linguistic prowess of our students.

Commendations

Firstly – to Nicolo in Year 3, who produced a fantastic piece of homework for his native German programme and who has made great progress in his learning of this language.  And it’s a very proud family moment for his parents as Nicolo’s brother, Leo (Year 4) also received a Headteacher’s Certificate for his effort and commitment in the same German native lessons.  It was great to hear about how much they are enjoying their lessons at the moment and I am sure that this enthusiasm will spur them on even further.  Well done boys!

Secondly – to Natalie in Year 7, who achieved an outstanding grade in her recent French assessment.  Natalie was able to clearly articulate how she spent a day at school using a variety of vocabulary and with accurate grammatical techniques throughout her piece.  Très bien!
