Staff Profile: Sarah Rawson

Sarah Rawson

Reception Leader

Sarah has a BA (Hons) in Education Studies and English from the University of Derby. She began her exciting teaching journey as a PGCE Student at the University of Nottingham. Having then spent two years teaching in an outstanding primary school in Birmingham, she continued her career in an international school in Qatar.

During her time in Qatar, she was Key Stage 1 Co-ordinator and in charge of themed learning and creativity. She is passionate about delivering a creative and exciting curriculum. She has recently completed her MA Education and is looking forward to continuing with her studies. 

Sarah has a wide range of interests, including drama, reading, sports, traveling and educational research. Whilst at University she spent her summers working as a camp counsellor in Connecticut, USA. During which time she was a climbing and mountain biking instructor and a qualified life guard. She now enjoys spending time travelling and has visited 36 countries. She is looking forward to seeing more of China.
