Natalia was born in Moscow, Russia, where at the age of eight she started to intensively learn foreign languages in a specialised language school. Her passion for languages led her to continue studying English, Spanish and Russian at the Translation and Interpretation Faculty of the Moscow State Linguistics University, where she achieved a First Class Honours Degree with specialisation in Linguistics and Intercultural Communications.
After her graduation, Natalia was offered the position of interpreter at the Moscow branch of Revlon Professional Corporation. Due to her job, she travelled a lot and eventually settled in the UK in 2004 where she was hired to teach languages at a sixth form college. Looking for further challenges in 2012, Natalia obtained a PGCE from the University of Gloucestershire, after which she worked as an English and Spanish lecturer at Cirencester College. A love of adventure and new horizons took her and her family to Shanghai in August 2017. Through her lessons, Natalia strives to share her passion for the language. She prides herself on her ability to coach her pupils to achieve their highest level. She has a personalised approach to teaching and a capacity to create well-structured, engaging and challenging lessons. These are supported by her excellent subject knowledge as a result of her specialised linguistic background.
In her free time, Natalia enjoys spending time with her family and loves Latin American dancing, which has been her main hobby for many years. Do not be surprised to see her on the dance floor in a Latino club in Shanghai!
