Online Activities

The Global Campus is an innovative, contemporary and distinctive educational programme unique to Nord Anglia Education where all our students can collaborate, inquire, create, innovate and lead. Our online spaces are managed by educational experts, making them the perfect place to engage with the kinds of learning technologies that are essential for the modern age.

The Portal is for students in Years 4, 5 and 6, at the upper end of the primary school.  Being part of the portal allows children to learn to collaborate online with other children from our family of schools around the world.  Children can learn to be part of an online community in a safe, fun and educational context, developing key skills and extending their range of interests.

The Studio is our online learning space for secondary school students.  They discuss current news and events, and share ideas about school, work and life, in sections such as Debate Forum, Brain Teasers, Hitting the Headlines and the Lounge. There are opportunities for leadership, with new student leaders selected every month to manage and steer discussion online.

The Academy is a place where IB students in Years 12 and 13 can talk with others of a similar age around the word.  Topics like life after school, succeeding with the IB programme and planning for university are explored thoroughly and the Academy allows students to access, practise and develop skills in the kind of peer-peer learning they will use a great deal when they start life at university.
