School Fees

At Collège Champittet, we aim for transparency in all aspects of school life, including our tuition and fees.  Below you will find an explanation of the required and optional expenses you can expect each school year. For more financial information, policies and payment terms, see our General and Financial Terms and Conditions on the download page.

Terms of Admission

As part of the application process and to guarantee your child's place in our school, we charge a non-refundable admission fee of CHF 2’500. There is a discount if you wish to enroll multiple children. Please note that children of alumni benefit from a 25% fee reduction.

For boarding students only, we require an additional one-time enrollment fee of 10'000 CHF after being admitted. This deposit will be returned in full at the close of their time with Champittet as long as they have met all financial obligations.

Our admissions terms cover the administrative costs for our team to review carefully each application and hand-select each Champittet student.

Tuition, Mandatory Activities, Specific Fees and FLE/EAL Supplement

Our tuition and activity fees vary by year and are indicated in detail in our Terms and Conditions available here. These costs also cover examination entrance fees, transportation, and foreign language support. With these fees, we enrich each student's academic experience and help them discover the world on a local and global scale with physical challenges, cultural trips, nature discovery excursions and more.

Boarding Fees

For our boarding students, our community is a home away from home. Boarders can connect with their peers and teachers and become independent learners. We offer two different boarding fees — one including weekend activities and the other without. Both variants include full board and supervised studies.

Optional Private Classes

Optional private classes vary in cost depending on the length and size of the class. For example, a 40-minute class ranges from CHF 30.- for a class of four students to CHF 85.- for an individual class.

Books, School Supplies and Digital Resources

We provide each Champittet student from 4th through 10th grade with a free iPad to facilitate their digital learning. We charge a digital resource fee of CHF 50.- to help purchase apps and e-books.

Optional Activities

Throughout the school year, we encourage students to participate in various organised sporting and cultural activities. While participation is optional, these activities are challenging and enriching for students, and so we highly recommend families to register if possible.

Collège Champittet Foundation

Parents may make an optional annual contribution of CHF 100.- to support the Collège Champittet Foundation.

APEC Parents Association

All Champittet parents are automatically enrolled as members of our Parents Association at no cost. If you wish to vote on school affairs and take an active role in the association, we welcome you to join as an active member for an annual subscription of CHF 50.- per family.

Uniforms

The prices of our mandatory uniforms vary according with a student's age. Uniform items may include a sweatshirt, long-sleeved polo and short-sleeved polo. Uniforms allow students to focus on their studies and creates a boundary between the school day and the weekend.

Special Needs, School Psychologist, Coaching and Educational Counselling

Collège Champittet is committed to accessibility and welcomes students of all abilities. If your child requires any special assistance, you'll be invited to confer with a specialist for testing. We offer a number of free coaching and counselling consultations, with the option to pay for additional sessions.
