College Champittet Foundation

Collège Champittet Foundation supports specific school-related renovation and construction projects in less-developed areas of the world. By doing so it strengthens the school’s educative mission within a long-term development perspective.

  • Fondation Champittet

The Collège Champittet Foundation is independent and non-profit. It is entirely autonomous from private school Collège Champittet or Nord Anglia Education, from whom it only receives support, but never Contributes to financially. The Foundation has its own legal identity and is registered with the official commerce registry. Members of its committee represent the school management, parents, pupils as well as teachers.

The Foundation has two complementary objectives:

  • Support humanitarian projects mainly in education
  • Raise awareness among our students about the situation of poorer countries, make them better individuals and citizens

The Foundation supports 2 kinds of projects: long-term school-related projects and one-off projects with a more general charitable purpose

The long-term school-related projects are:

All funds raised are used in direct support of the projects. Members of the Foundation Committee are all un-paid volunteers and the Foundation administrative costs are supported by Collège Champittet. Travelling costs of humanitarian trips in which students take part are all financed by participating students’ families.
