Mr Anthony Rowlands Weekly Update 18.12.2015

18 December 2015

It has been a very festive and positive end of term at BIS Hanoi. We have had our share of Christmas performances, discos, fairs and the school can excitedly look forward to Term 2. One wonderful community development we have started at BIS Hanoi is our “School Community Garden” initiated by our Community Liaison Officer - Mr Kevin Halpin. Our garden is located at the back of the school and students and staff have contributed to the project as can be seen by the photographs below. We are now going to start planting various  items  and watch it develop into a very special place!

As usual in our End of Term Whole School Assembly we presented the Principal’s Awards to one student from each year group. When making the decision for this award we look for students who consistently perform to the highest level that they possibly can in many areas of school life whilst displaying the attributes that underpin the school’s aide memoire. This term I was proud to present the following students with the Principal’s Award for Term 1 2015/16:

I would like to wish you all a safe and peaceful holiday and look forward to welcoming our wonderful students back to school on
