Year 12 and special guest speakers from the business world

24 September 2015

This week the Business Studies Department hosted three guest speakers from the business world who gave presentations to our Y12 students. Mr Richard Leech, Executive Director  from

(Vietnam) Co Ltd, a global property and real estate business,  Mr Alex Falter, General Director from

Vert Company

a garment manufacturer and Ms Hoang Tri Mai from

Rolls Royce

, the world renowned power transmission and engine producer, all made short presentations and then took questions from students. All three businesses are members of the

group with links to the UK. They themed their talks around corporate objectives and the importance of Corporate Social Responsibilty and Equality in particular. The students learned about the growing opportunities for businesses in Vietnam and the future challenges that they may have to meet. It was a very interesting and useful opportunity for BIS and a great chance to talk to senior personnel in some of the most successful businesses. Our thanks go to the speakers.
