BIS Hanoi recently welcomed students, families and staff to Scholar’s Evening 2026-27, a special event dedicated to recognising the achievements of 48 outstanding scholarship recipients from across the Primary and Secondary schools. The evening celebrated not only academic excellence, but also the talent, commitment and potential demonstrated by students in a wide range of disciplines. This year, scholarships were awarded across eight categories: Primary Academic, Middle School Academic, IGCSE, IBDP, Performing Arts, Design & Technology, Basketball and FOBISIA.

The evening began with a welcome from school leaders, who congratulated students on their achievements and highlighted the importance of curiosity, perseverance and a commitment to continuous growth. While scholarships recognise outstanding accomplishments, they also celebrate the values and character that enable students to make meaningful contributions both within and beyond the classroom.

Throughout the ceremony, students were invited to the stage to receive their awards and be recognised alongside their families. As each scholarship category was announced, the audience was reminded of the diverse strengths represented across the cohort, from academic excellence and artistic talent to sporting achievement and innovation. Together, this year’s scholars reflect the breadth of talent within the BIS Hanoi community. Beyond their achievements, they have distinguished themselves through creativity, leadership, resilience and dedication, embodying the qualities that define a BIS Hanoi student.

The evening also provided an opportunity to recognise the invaluable support of parents, teachers and mentors who have encouraged students every step of the way. Their guidance helps create an environment where young people can thrive, pursue their passions and realise their potential.

As we celebrate another year of exceptional achievement, we congratulate all 48 BIS Hanoi Scholars on this well-deserved recognition. Their accomplishments serve as an inspiration to their peers and demonstrate what can be achieved through passion, perseverance and a commitment to excellence.
