Ms Sue Hill Weekly Update 25.3.2016

28 March 2016

  • British International School Hanoi Primary news

Dear Parents,

As I write this BIS Hub report, our Year 4 children are having lots of fun finding out about local farming and fishing at Ba Vi. They are due back in school at 3:30pm today and I am looking forward to hearing all about their adventures. Here are some photos of their experiences over the last couple of days. As you can see, outdoor learning can be great fun!

Shared Learning

At BIS we believe that children’s learning develops best when it is supported through a joint partnership between teachers, children and parents.  There is tremendous value in children having the opportunity to share their learning with their parents and teachers together, discussing work they have done, their achievements and the future learning targets they have been set.

Next week we are holding our “Shared Learning” meetings for parents, children and class teachers. This will be a great opportunity for parents to sit with their child and his/her teacher and to find out more about the activities which have been going on this year.
You should have received a letter from the Primary Office offering the chance to visit the classroom however if you have not received the email invitation then please contact Ms. Hung, in the Primary Office, for further details as we still have some slots available on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
