Mr Christopher Short Weekly Update 29/04/2016

29 April 2016

I hope everyone had a great holiday. It was interesting talking to students this week as Year 11 – 13 had enjoyed the break but had combined this with revision for their examinations which start on Tuesday. We wish all our older students well as they start this important phase of their lives next week. As we enjoy the long weekend please give a thought to the students sitting their IGCSE and A Levels on the second day of the public holiday.

Year 13 start their last ever term at school before they head out into universities and new countries around the World. Our programme has prepared them well for the academic and life challenges they will encounter so we are confident they will thrive in the competitive universities they are going to.

This term isn’t all about examinations with the trip to Barcelona, the third and final challenge day and our first ever Gold DoEIA expedition all taking place amongst the regular diet of sporting events, performances and community activity.
