Emilie is originally from Paris, France. During her studies, she lived and studied both in Paris, France, and in Salamanca, Spain, before moving to Birmingham, UK, to train to become a secondary school teacher; giving her the opportunity to share her love for languages with her students. Prior to Vietnam, Emilie was a French teacher and a subject leader for Spanish in a school in Birmingham, for five years. Her passion for her subject led to a great enthusiasm for languages among students in her previous school.
Emilie has also a love for Art and incorporated this into her lessons wherever possible. She has previously worked very closely with the Art department to provide students with extra-curricular opportunities to use their creative minds and their team skills to design multi-disciplinary projects.
In her free time, she enjoys doing sports but also travelling to discover new places and cultures.
