Catherine Mullin

Catherine Mullin British International School Hanoi 2018

Year 1 Teacher

PGCE in Education with Qualified Teacher Status: Primary Education (3-7) - University of Brighton
BA Tourism and Leisure Management (Hons) - Liverpool John Moores University

Catherine is from Northern Ireland. She moved to Brighton, on the South Coast of England, after finishing university. Here she worked for two years as a teaching assistant. She then completed her PGCE and went on to teach in Reception for two years. Whilst working in Brighton she was appointed Key Stage 1 Art Coordinator and had the privilege of leading her school in a city wide Arts festival. Then Catherine moved to London where she again taught Reception, in addition to leading Phonics across the school. 

In her spare time, Catherine enjoys yoga and travelling. She is looking forward to exploring Hanoi and Vietnam at large. Catherine has a passion for reading and Literacy, a pursuit which she has transmitted in school and when running an after school reading club.
