Staff Profile: Paul Forsythe

Paul Forsythe BIS Hanoi 2018

Head of Science

MBA – Educational Leadership (pending), Anglia Ruskin University, UK

B.Eng (Hons) – Aeronutical Engineering, Queen Mary College (Uni of Lon), UK

PGCE – Secondary Science, Canterbury Christ Church University, UK

Paul has spent the last 13 years as a Head of Science and has taught at a range of schools in the independent and UK state sectors. Paul has a breadth and depth of experience in all areas of schools and intends to use this to enhance the teaching and learning of Science at BIS Hanoi.

A former engineer who retrained to be a Physics teacher at Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK, he has spent his 20-year career enthusing students about the wonders found on the earth and within the universe. Having just arrived from the UAE he is looking forward to embracing the Vietnamese culture and exploring the country with his wife and two children; they will attend BIS as well.

In his free time Paul can be found enjoying outdoor pursuits, local cuisine and obsessively following Chelsea FC!
