BVIS Swimming Team Update

12 May 2016

The BVIS swimming team took part in their first swimming gala of the season on Friday 6th May at BIS.

  • BVIS Swimming gala 17/5 introduce

Students have been training on Monday and Tuesdays after school to prepare for the competition. This competition was a team event and students only swam in relays. Our competitors were very strong, many of which have been swimming and training regularly all their life. Although finishing 4th overall, the students demonstrated their understanding of competitive rules and regulations which is a big part of being successful in future competitions. Over the next couple of weeks, the Year 7 swimming team will compete in more swimming galas; the next one is to be hosted at BVIS on Tuesday 17th May.
