Mr Mark Sayer Weekly Update 13/5/2016

13 May 2016

Following on from the Parent Survey in March I am delighted to say that we now have the results from the survey.

  • BVIS Hanoi News 20160513

As a school with a unique Bilingual curriculum it was very encouraging to know that 98.4% of respondents thought that the “school’s curriculum and programs reflect what the mission or philosophy says the school is trying to do” and 97.4% of parents “believe the curriculum meets my child’s needs.”

I have spoken extensively in the past about Leadership being core foundation of the school and this was reflected in 95.1% of parents believing that the “School programs provide opportunities for students to learn leadership skills and to participate in community service.”

Our staff also took part in the survey and it is testament to your parenting that 100% of staff thought “Students respect teachers” and “Students respect one another”.

Thank you for completing this survey as it forms part of our CIS (Council of International Schools) accreditation and allows the school to accommodate your views in our planning process. You can be assured that your feedback will form a central part in the development of the school. Communicating with our parents is very important and I would encourage you to contact the school whenever you have an issue or a suggestion for how we can improve as a school.

I will leave you with one final outcome of the survey which is that 98.5% of our parents viewed the school as a “welcoming and friendly place”!
