Secondary Weekly Update (25/11-29/11)

Secondary weekly update 1

Dear Parents,

On Wednesday, we welcomed our Year 11 parents for the Parents, Students and Teachers’ Meeting to discuss the progress students are making in each of their subjects. Thank you to all who attended this and to all the teachers who gave up their time to discuss their progress with parents.

On Friday morning, we had an assembly to discuss about the school performance which will be showed on 5th and 6th December. Free tickets are available at the reception desk for students to collect. Since August, the cast and crew of this year’s production, Alice In Wonderland JR, have been learning lines and rehearsing the scenes for the final performances. Also, we discuss some preparation for Christmas Market.

With the Duke of Edinburgh students departing this Friday for their practice adventurous journey (AJ), it gives us a good chance to reflect on the benefits that it can bring. There is nothing better than the sense of accomplishment that each student feels after completing their AJ. I wish them all the best for this. They will be back at 5pm on next Monday (December 1st)
